Aircraft Luggage Left Behind by Airline

I flew from Cape Town to Johannesburg with SAA for the first and last time today because of that horrifying experience. Our flight got delayed from 15:35 (which was initially 15:15, but they changed that twice) to 16:40, and no communication was sent out to passengers. While that is still inconvenient, we boarded and left to jnb. Upon our arrival at O.R Tambo, the conveyer belt at Baggage Reclaim stopped moving 10 minutes, and the reason was that “The luggage has been left in Cape Town due to the aircraft’s inability to takeoff because of the weight of the passengers + luggage.” Again, we only found this out when we arrived in Joburg.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement. This is my worse flight experience, and I did not expect it from the South African flag carrier. I will not be booking with this airline again, ever.
