A client's nightmare with SAA Voyager
1. Due to a change in Voyager bonus mile system in February 2015 my bonus miles dropped in value from about R5000 to R750
2. When booking bonus award for flight Joburg to Windhoek Voyager quotes tax for SAA Express of R2999, with SAA they quote R1008. How can this difference be justified?
3. SAA Website says last Monday 9200 bonus miles are required for a one way ticket JNB to Windhoek. Yesterday on the phone Voyager quotes 20900 bonus miles are required? The website is misleading advertising.
4. Yesterday in the SAA office in Joburg, Consultant at SAA Voyager recommends us instead using my bonus miles for 2 'Day' tickets in a health spa. We agree and after booking find out the vouchers are not for a day ticket, but only for the value of R250, not enough to even get through the door at any Health Spa.
5. Now we have to pay extra to even use these vouchers. Not a bad trick by SAA and its partners. Get SAA clients to convert bonus miles into vouchers and have them pay on top of it. Small turnover is better than no turnover?
How is this for customer service, honest product delivery and awarding customer loyalty? Is SAA's value system based on Corporate Greed and *******?
