A while ago I purchased a pair of Merrell sneakers from Cape Union Mart. These were certainly not cheap. Unfortunately the laces lasted only a few months and broke. I have tried unsuccessfully for months trying to locate replacement laces for the Merrel Sneakers. Cape Union Mart were "unhelpful" to say the least, and the Merrell distributors just as useless. Fortunately I discovered SA TRIMMINGS, and ROGER HATTINGH. He immediately took up my case, sourced the correct materials and MADE ME A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT LACES that would suit the colour and style of the shoes. He then couriered the parcel to me AT HIS OWN COST!!! I say a heartfelt "Thank You" to Roger Hattingh, and Tamaryn Hammond for going the extra mile for a total stranger. Cape Union Mart and Merrell can certainly learn something about Public Relations from this company!!
