SA REWARDS ****!! Shame on you and your 'sponsors'!!

Whilst browsing Facebook this weekend I was prompted to enter my details to win a reward - a free shopping voucher worth R2000, from Pick n Pay, Woolies or Checkers, I believe. This was contextualised as my being one of 30 lucky people who had been identified by Facebook! I was prompted via an on-screen process to provide some personal information, and this was followed by prompts to receive quotes for life insurance, personal loans etc. At the end of the process, and prior to my receiving any reward, I was taken to the Home Choice site where, in order to complete the process, I had to order a bed set. So, where was the FREE reward ?? I am now voucher-less. And am batting off 101 calls from sales people trying to sell me things i don't want or need. This is a shameless lead acquisition initiative, couched in a reward offer, for the likes of StanGen, Clientele Life, Hollard, HomeChoice and Liberty. It is blatant false advertising. UNACCEPTABLE.
