Wrong information at Sunninghill Post Office

Good afternoon,

On the 4th of April (between 08h00 and 10h00), I went to the Sunninghill Post Office to renew my vehicle license. I was turned away because my ID was not found in the Gauteng Province. I was told to go to the Traffic Department in order to change my address and facilitate the renewal. I did not have time to go to the Traffic Department due to work commitments.

On the 15th of April I went to the Rosebank Post Office and my renewal was successful. They did not tell me to go to the Traffic Department to affect the renewal but all they required was my proof of address in order to change my address on the system.
I still had to pay a penalty for a late renewal, which I assume accumulates daily over time.

I am wondering how I could perform a transaction at one of your locations and I could not at another one. Was it a difference in systems at certain locations or was it a fact that some employees do not know how to operate the system?

I ask this because I lost out financially (extra penalty) and I lost my time (having to go to your locations twice)

Regards,
Siliziwe Mafika
***
[Email Removed]
