Worst Service Ever!

I ordered a package from Shade Station a UK company on the 4th of July 2017 (Order Number: 629332) which was dispatched via Royal Mail and arrived in South African on the 5th of July 2017.

On the 18th of August 2017 a full 32 working days later the tracking changed to “Arrival at inward office of exchange - JIMC A”, 10 working days later “Item presented to import Customs - JIMC A”

During this time I have spoken to Shade Station whom advised that they will investigate from their side (Royal Mail) but I’d need to open a ticket with South African Post Office as well. Here is where the fun starts 4 working days later on the 7th of September 2017 I once again started following up with South African Post Office after holding for 15 minutes a call centre woman answered at around 15:03. I explained the situation to here repeating the tracking number twice (RJ ********** 46GB) she then said it being processed. I asked if I can collect at the airport at my own expense and she advised that no walk-in customers are allowed and that I have no other option but to wait. I asked for a ticket or reference to assist Royal Mails investigation into to matter to which she rep**** that it would be impossible to give such a number as Royal Mail knows the situation and all they are doing is shifting blame.

Admittedly at this point I started getting rather irate this woman told me that there is nothing that can be done as it’s a government institution and all I can do is wait since this has been going on for 2 years and I should have known since I watch news while constantly speaking over me. I do not know this woman personally but she however feels that she know what it is I do and don’t do. I asked for her name when she started raising her voice and she hung up the call.

So firstly I have an issues with Shade Station offering a service to a county that clearly does not have the infrastructure or support to handle delivery and based on information given by the all-knowing South African call centre agent they are aware of and asked me to provide information that South African Post Office could not provide, other than that everything was handled pretty efficiently from them and Royal Mail.

My greater concern is the South African Call Centre agent that was exceptionally rude, unprofessional and blasé. Telling me what it is I do and that I should have known better when I asked for her name after her constant lack of respect and speaking over me and shouting she decided she was over it and dropped the call.

I would like to know that disciplinary action was take on her absolute lack of professionalism and I would like an actual update from any party involved as to when I can expect delivery on a parcel ordered 65 days ago.
