What happened to my parcel between 25 Sept and 18 Oct 2017?

I am curious as to how long it takes for a parcel to be delivered from overseas. The parcel arrived in South Africa on 25 Sept 2017 and the last tracking read that it is at JIMC A on 18 October 2017. How is it possible for a parcel to reach South Africa in 3 days from ordering it overseas and then it is kept somewhere for weeks? This is the evidence:

I wonder how long we would have to wait for this parcel? Can anybody assist us please?
