1. Came to this post office for car licence, because all other Durban post offices services are not operating properly, the only efficient one with some order was Durban North, now that is closed down, people now have have to run around and look for other post offices which was evident on the day, 2. Please don’t go to this one 3. The infrastructure and equipment is there but the people managing it are useless and and ***********. 4. Abuse of power, Maladministration, Lack of management all suite this post office. 5. The manager/ supervisor on Saturday, 29 October 2022 was a horrible inhumane arrogant person who doesn’t know what proper customer service is. 6. The supposed to close at 13h00pm, they cut car Licence que of at 11:50am just so they can leave early, those outside had to leave despite being the from 9h00, no system in place, no communication nothing, just do as she pleases when she pleases, 7. 3 of us from the outside que made it into the post office but the manager/ supervisor cut us off, I requested her to at least complete us 3 but she demanded I leave because they made their numbers and need to tally up totals. She made a copy of the id of the last person she wanted in the que. This is against our constitutional rights and consumer protection act, three of us were in the actual post office and not outside. 8. We waited but were not served. 9. Many others came after us and also complained but the manager spent more time arguing with people than doing their work. Many others came from far to get this done, instead of arguing she could of completed more people and do her job to service the community 10. The irony is that the government want our money for the licences, we going to to pay it, but their workers are delaying this process, 11. We are in budget constrained times but I suggest you don’t go to this post office, rather go online - managed to do the licence on Enatis online, have to spend R99 extra for delivery but less hassle, they deliver to you, instead of wasting your time, Fuel, family life and energy on useless people, rather go this route if you can. 12. Post office services are closing down and merging, maybe by people not using this car licence service (which was majority on the day) at this post office it will give these staff a wake up call for proper service and get their act together. 13. Also authorities - if any reading this, while waiting in the que, noticed the fire equipment for this place was last serviced in January 2021, this just adds on their mismanagement and a health and safety risk to the community.
