Undelivered parcel - six weeks later

A parcel was posted to me on 1 June in Johannesburg. I have been to my local post office to inquire about its whereabouts but they say its still in Johannesburg. Six weeks later, do I stand a chance of ever receiving this parcel? I have sent sms to the contact on the tracking webpage but the sms fails every time. I have sent an email but it is undeliverable, I have tried calling but there is no answer. Does anybody take responsibility for this 'organisation' in SA? It's time for another mail service as the State organisations are totally incapable of delivering. Sadly, it seems that I am not alone in this predicament.
