Undelivered International Mail
Good Day,
I always try to see the best in places like the Post Office and I do understand that there are high volumes of parcels and mail coming into the country. I have patiently called, emailed and even visited my local Post Office to track my items. I have 10 International Items coming that I bought a month and a half ago which most are on priority shipping. Every time I speak to anyone at the Post Office, they cannot track my items however all my suppliers have notified me that my items are definitely in the country. When I try to track my items online on the Post Office website, it is pointless because there is no information and one of my items shows the destination as being Sudan however my supplier has got South Africa as destination, this is clearly the South African Post mistake, when I asked them to rectify the mistake, I received an email saying that destination will be changed to South Africa, the next day, when I checked it was not done and when I queried this, I was rudely told that it is not the Post Office mistake and I should contact the country of origin. The highlight of everything is one of my items was sent back to the supplier, I never received a slip in the mail for collection and when I have tracked the item internationally, the item arrived in SA on the 29 August, as far as I understand, the item needs to be kept at the branch for 30 days before being returned. I urgently need 3 of items for next week. No one at the Post Office can help me and all I want to know is where my items are, I am willing to drive to any of the Post Office Distribution Centers and pick up my items, I am also willing to pay for extra courier services to get my items to me before the end of next week.
