To The US and back...and still not delivered

<p>On August 23 2016, I wrote to the SA Post Office:</p> <p>"A box with the tracking number EE ********** 83ZA was sent on 22 April earlier this year (2016) via EMS at the Greenside Post Office in Johannesburg, and has still not arrived at it's address in DENVER, Colorado<br />United States! This is more than 4 months later.</p> <p>From the tracking results, it looks like it has been to the US and has come back to JHB, was sitting in Denver, Germiston and is now sitting at JIMC (Joburg International Mail Centre )</p> <p>This is absolutely unacceptable service and I expect an immediate response and quick resolution by the close of business on Thursday 25 August 2016, otherwise I will publicise this incident on social media (Facebook and Twitter), on Hellopeter.com and I will send a letter to all the major newspapers."</p> <p> </p> <p>I got a repsonse on 25 August, saying that it was in the US, which is not what the SA Post Office's own tracking system shows.</p> <p>So on August 26, I rep****:</p> <p>"Yes, as you can see from the screenshot I sent you, it must have been sent back to Joburg by the US Postal Service as your system shows it was scanned again at Joburg International Mail Centre on 31 May, sat there until 24 June, then there was an attempted delivery in Germiston, Joburg on 1 July and then was sent back to the Joburg International Mail Centre on 5 July. There is no further update so I assume that the box is still sitting in Joburg International Mail Centre as of today.</p> <p>Please ask your Joburg International Mail Centre staff to find the box and sent it to the address in Denver, Colorado via EMS which I paid for more than 4 months ago on 22 April!</p> <p> <br />I have still had no resolution of this as of today September 12. I wil publicicse this case widely in the hope of forcing the SA Post Office to provide a minimum level of service and resolution to this case.</p>
