theft of phone

I was sent an iphone from canada through a registered post.i went to Tramshed post office to collect my package.only to see it was already open,so i descided to check it right there,only to discover the phone was not in the box,only the charger and earphone. The manager took photos and i filled some forms and i was told they will get back to me,i m still waiting
