The SA Post office is a joke

I cant begin to explain the aggravation I experience with parcels constantly. Pickup a phone right now, try call a branch or the call center, you will be on hold for the majority of the rest of your life if they ever answer. Bryanston closed, when tracking my parcel says it was scanned on the 15th Dec '15. The call center says its gone to Sloane. I've been to Sloane twice. Nothing. I escalate the case, they say 24-48hrs turn around time, ITS BEEN TWO WEEKS, NOTHING. I was called to say it is being investigated and that they themselves cannot get a hold of the people at Bryanston to find out where it is. I call now, and get the same story again a week later. Cant someone drive there by now? Even Checkers will answer the phone if you call but I can see why everythings a shambles because not even the SA Post office can get a hold of their own branches. Why is it no government operated place answers the phone or runs efficiently?? To make matters worse, I send my next parcel to my work address to maybe avoid the same problem, when tracking its at Boksburg North yesterday, I go to collect NOTHING. *** SA Post office!
