The SA Post Office and EMS incapable

The SA Post Office and EMS are nowadays really incapable of doing anything worthwhile. A package of mine got lost and they admitted it, gave me a form to fill in to claim my loss and now they are playing dead! Other packages are in waiting for more than 4 - 6 months. How come nobody can do anything about this, or is their bosses of the same quality?
