the post office that doesn't work for you

I had a parcel sent from Cape Town. It took two days to get from the Capemail HUB to the Joburg Witspos Hub.
Then the parcel sat for days after arriving... instead of going to its destination. I'm in Sandown - that's Jozi's northern suburbs. The parcel was sent to the North Riding Branch (of the post office, I assume)... and was returned to the Witspos hub with an \Out Of Office"notation. What does that even mean? There was no one at the North Riding post office at 2pm to accept the parcel?

I've now spent 5 hours every day for the last week phoning ***to get an update... no one answered the phone. How \""important\"" is my call if no one speaks to me after 25 hours' of phonecalls? And why doesn't the tracking website work? It's a simple parcel... a simple journey... completely ruined by people and processes who don't want to do their job.

I'm not expecting a response... after all"
