The Atrocious behavior of a post office employee

Good Day

I have experienced very horrible service from the post office at Bramley. Initially I went to collect my parcels after receiving notification that they had been delivered. When I got there a lady advised me to go collect my parcel at the Alexandra post office. So i went to Alex post office only to be advised that they do not deal with parcels and i should go back to Bramley.

I went to Bramley and the same lady looked at my slips and told me they had been sent back as they only keep parcels for one month, she had not even double checked her facts. So I go back home, only to get sms's from management of the Bramley management that I needed to urgently collect my parcels.

I went to the post office AGAIN and asked this lady why she was giving me the run around to which she gave me such attitude about how she needed to knock off and even called the police to say she was in a hostage situation. So immediately after the police arrived and as i was trying to discribe the nature of the situation while trying not to pay attention to the post office lady that kept complaining about how her bus has left her.

She wanted to give me my parcels without proof of ID and she all of a sudden changed her mind, I pleaded with her and apologized if I had been wrong and all she did was pack her bags and the manager also called me but that didn't help.

Even after I had collected my previous parcels from the same lady without proof of ID with just the slips they delivered to me she blatantly refused and told me she didn't care even if I went to the media.

We are aware that the post office has faced some challenges in the recent past and how their employees are not happy but this sort of behavior should not be accepted and just swept under the carpet. I am just feeling so upset and so disappointed, if my parcels are sent back I will lose money . I told this to the lady who was absolutely not phased by anything I was saying to her even after I told her I was travelling she still demanded that I come the following day as it was now her time to knock off.

The time we spent arguing over this matter was such a waste because we could've been very easily resolved.
