Still no rebate on renewal of post box for 2015
Battling since 24/12/14 with Post Office. Was supposed 2 renew post box 4 2015 by 31/1/15. I'm extremely upset with fact that as consumer, I received NO credit for 3 months that strike lasted in 2014, 3 months 4 which I paid. <br> <br> Most recent answers from Post Office Customer Service:<br> ***<br> 25/1/15: We hereby acknowledge receipt of ur enquiry & kindly note that the concerns raised of non-delivery of mail in ur mail box during the strike period & the dissatisfaction regarding the rebate issue hav been reported 2 a responsible 4 comment & u should receive feedback from him shortly. Meanwhile u may provide us with ur Box details so that we may request our sorters @ the box section 2 b on the lookout 4 the 2 outstanding magazines & if located, they will b placed in ur mail box. We sincerely apologise 4 any inconvenience caused.<br> ***<br> 11/2/15: We r sorry 2 learn that ur query hasn't been responded to as promised. We will undertake an inquest on the matter & will provide u with a clear & timely response. On behalf of the post office, please accept our regrets 4 any inconvenience.<br> <br> ***<br> PO still haven't produced 2 lost magazines and still NO rebate, so cheers to the Post Office! Your comment is noted and kindly be advised that an in-principle decision has been taken that no application for a refund on Post Boxes rental fee o compensation for non receipt of mail due to the strike will be approved. The strike action was national and has affected the post office operation negatively.
With the influx if mail articles processed on a daily basis chances of locating unrecorded items are highly impossible hence we usually advise our clients to register their mail to ensure that it is traceable from the postage to the delivery date.
