Snail Mail

<p>On the 17th of October I sent an A4 envelope to kloofsig , Centurion. The method of mail was via fast mail after being told that it would reach destination within 3-5 days. 5 weeks later the mail has not reached the recipient in kloofsig. The recipient has even gone to the local post office to check perhaps it's waiting delivery but nothing.</p> <p>I contacted my local post office in person and they say "It should have been delivered by now" . I contacted customer service and was given the 5 working day eta and she suggested I use a tracking service next time of which annoyed me because it's way past 5 days and a service was paid for but service not delivered. No explanation of potential delays in the delivery chain could be provided.</p> <p>This wasn't the first time I've used fast mail to Pretoria and now suspect that this may be a systematic patern whereby fast mail takes eons to be delivered within the time frame paid for.</p>
