SAPO Speed Services theft
On 08/11/2019,I posted a letter to a hospital in Durban. Ir was sent via speed services couriers through the post office. The letter was clearly marked as deliver to door. The letter was not delivered...I called the post office call center only to be informed that the letter is awaiting collection. After checking, it was verified that it was actually to be delivered to door. I was tge referred to speed services couriers. I was asked to call them which I did. I spoke to a lady named Shabeira who informed me that the letter was at the Durban post office and that I needed to call them on ***. After calling these numbers numerous times, I was unable to get tgrough as these phones are not answered. I then called head office and spoke to Josephine who very rudely told me to go to social media and complain as their complaints manager Walter was nowhere to be found. His number was ***. After calling this number repeatedly, I reached a lady named Caroline who insisted this was a speed services issue and said she would e-mail Shabeira to get the letter delivered, which she did. I then tried to follow up, only to find that speed services no longer picked up their phone. Eventually I got a hold of the SAPO call center. After screaming I was put through to a supervisor named Jacqui who promised to follow up on this. Guess what??? Still no feedback... This looks to be the way tge Post office and speed services ***** money. Make you believe that they will deliver overnight, but fail or throw away your letters. It is sad to think that unemployed people are forced to use these services only to find their applications discarded by the post office who charged them for postage...
