SAPO refusing to deliver package

A package was sent to me via express international shipping with PostNL on the 18th of September 2019. The package arrived in South African on 25 September - only a week later. However, since then, the South African Post Office have taken LONGER than it took for the item to be shipped, processed and flown over from Europe to South African to get it sent to the recipient. SAPO don't answer calls. SAPO don't reply to tweets / direct messages. SAPO don't answer emails. SAPO can't provide any clarifying reasons or tracking details in any way shape or form. A friendly lady managed to give me the domestic tracking number: RI***ZA, the international tracking number being: RT***NL. I wish there was a way to COMPLETELY avoid using the SA Post Office. It's time they just declare their incapacity to handle South Africa's postal needs and let a private company take over. Or make SAPO a private company with new investors. It's just a horrible experience trying to deal with them from start to end. IF someone at SAPO manages to read this, PLEASE explain to me why it takes longer for a parcel to be sent to the recipient domestically, then having it FLOWN IN FROM 8000 KM away??? I would appreciate your answer.
