SAPO inefficiency

And just when you think there is hope for our government institutions.....they keep proving us wrong. :-(

Parcel shipped via SAPO from Nelspruit to Pretoria. Left Nelspruit on 17 December, destined to Waterkloof Glen Pretoria, and still "in transit" according to the track-and-trace system. For real??? How long does a parcel take from Nelspruit to PTA?

Took me going into a SAPO branch only to be told the same thing "the parcel is in transit".

Back home I sc**** the patients together and call the SAPO customer care centre. Embrace yourself, 15 minutes later a friendly agent answers and I remind myself not to shoot the messenger as the inefficiency of SAPO is not his fault!

After providing him my tracking number I am informed that my parcel is awaiting collection at Brooklyn Square Post Office! How did that go wrong? Never mind, at least my parcel has arrived albeit it is still in transit according to the track-and-trace.

SAPO, jack up your services and systems or close your doors. South African citizens are tired of poor and inefficient service. If you can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen!
