SAP Post Office is really in shambles

On Wednesday the 30 December 2016. We posted a gift card via Speed Services with tracking number TC ********** 31ZA at Braamfontein Post Office to Krooonstad. We were told that it would arrive the next morning on Thursday. The recipient went to collect it on Thursday, she was told it wasn’t there, which in itself was strange because it means that we paid such a lot of money for nothing. She then went on Friday to collect it, the parcel was there but the gift card was missing inside. Luckily the parcel was insured.

I’m not happy at all with the services at the post office. And to make matters worse, the guy at the Braamfontein post office told me that it would take them over 3 months to investigate. That gift card was meant for my child for her Christmas clothes. I used to hear stories about the Post Office and how items go missing and dissapear without trace and I cant believe that I would fall victim to that.

Can somebdoy at the Post Office prioritise this investigation and refund me as speedily as they can because I need to pay for my child’s Christmas clothes and I also want a refund for that so called Speed (aka ************) Services of theirs. It is but a white lie when they decieve people by saying that you post today and it arrives the next day.

Such incidents make me lose hope about the state of affairs in our country and the gross level of *******ion, incompetence and maladministration that have seemingly become the order of the day in entities like the Post Office, it’s sad indeed. Our country is going to the dogs and entities like the Post office bear testimony to this.I’m beyond irritated, hopeless and unimpressed.
