SA Postal service acting suspiciously, and failure to deliver parcel
CN ********** 34ZA I posted a parcel on 01/11/2018 to the Netherlands. To date (24/01/2019) the parcel has not arrived. On searching the tracking, we have been given various different answers from it has not reached its destination, to it has reached the Netherlands, to it being shipped per sea, and now we have received a notice that it wont be sent as it contains prohibited content. This was sent by one Eugenia Nobuhle Kekana, Customer services consultant, South African Post Office SOC Limited. The parcel contains only cosmetics (Face creams and products) so to receive this notice is very suspicious indeed. We are not able to reach anyone on the phone: I called the first number on the web site and the operator gave me another number to call. Needless to say, the number just cuts off AND I cant get through on the first again.
TO SA POST OFFICE: PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING - The cost of postage of this parcel was R1,404.65 - You have not delivered it - It does NOT contains prohibited content - we have been sending the same goods for over 15 years without a problem. - Eugenia Nobuhle Kekana does not reply to our questions - I want our parcel returned, with ALL the goods therein - I want a refund of R1,404.65 Failure to respond by close of business tomorrow, will result in my going to the police and opening a case of theft.
