SA Post office, one of the many pillars of **** in SA

Wish I could give 0 stars. My parcel has been at a nearby post office since the end of July. I call them the number never works. I call the contact centre, I was told “your parcel has been there since the end of July. Sometimes they don’t have time to send the WhatsApp or sms. It’s there and they must give it to you.”I go in, it’s empty, no customers, people are standing around behind the counter listening to the phone ring, talking having coffee. Everyone just looked at me while I was waiting for one of them to help me. Please guys don’t rush!🙄 I give them my tracking number, they say “ you must wait for the WhatsApp message or sms” I tell them what the contact centre said, as the person is about to give me an answer, the lights go out due to loadshedding. The person turns to me and says “we can’t help you, it’s loadshedding, whatsapp this number and we will send you a whatsapp as to when to come get the parcel.” Guess what! The number doesn’t work and isn’t even listed on whatsapp!
