SA Post Office not responding to a Claim on lost Goods

I couriered a phone (counter to door) from Marsharlltown Jhb to Cape Town on the 07th of May 2018. I was advised to wrap the box tightly and take out an insurance for it which is 3% of the value of the phone and I did that. The parcel was delivered on the 08th of May 2018 and there was no phone inside the box . I went to the Post Office the very same day and I was given a 1 page Claim form written Speed Services to complete and it was faxed there. I was informed that somebody will either call or email me regarding the claim.

After a week of not receiving any email or call I checked for the contact for Speed Services and I spoke to a lady (Name known) who said the person my claim was faxed to was not in the office however I can email it to her and I did that, After a couple of days again I made a telephonic follow up with the lady and she said she is still busy with my claim. Again I sent an email to her making follow up but she did not come back to me.

I called the customer care line again and this time I was informed that I'm through the Cape Town office and I should call the Pretoria office as they haven't receive any claim with the track number.

I felt that I was being taken from pillar to post and I went back to the Marshalltown Post Office, the Manager informed me that the matter is being handled by Speed Services and they are doing investigations. I told him that I don't know the relationship between Speed Services and Post Office and as their client I want an intervention because no one is coming back to me. I don't even have a reference number for the claim submitted and no one was coming back to me as indicated by them or if they are doing investigations how far are they.

The manager informed me that he will contact them and get a reference number for my claim and promised to send me an email by end of business on Friday the 18th of May 2018. Up to now I haven't receive any correspondence from him.

Its really frustrating, I'm even doubting if there is any insurance. Right now I don't even know who to contact.
