SA Post office not deliviring my parcel

Hi there,<br> <br> Last year (2014) September I sent a package from the United States of America to be delivered in South Africa. The package entered the country n a weeks time but was delayed by our post office for a few months due to striking. After the strike I have received a note in the first week of January that my package has arrived but with a R1500 bill. I went to the post office to pick up the package and ready to settle the estimate BUT they could not tell me why I have to pay the bill so I wanted to see the Manager and ask him to explain the process. He just told me sorry I that he does not know and understand the balances because it is a third party who is asking for the money. I then asked him if he can contact the third party and find out what going on because I am not going to pay for something which I have no clarity on and already paid for in the States. He just told me sorry he cant help but he can sent the parcel back to HQ Johannesburg and ask them to lower the amount. Guess what I am still waiting for that package. The tracking number said it is still in Joburg. I have tried to get hold of someone but still no answer. Please it has been longer then 5 months waiting.
