SA Post Office, Durban

Horrible Service Everytime!

I pick up packages quite often in the main Post Office, City Centre branch, Durban. Sad to say, Every experience there was horrible. A few weeks ago,I went to pick up a package and I waited about 2 hours in the queue, eventually it was my turn and I was somewhat relieved. Only for the teller to take my slip and then answer an incoming call on her cellphone. After about 15 minutes of her chatting on her phone, she finally went to get my package. Poor service and definitely no work ethic. This passed week I went again and the queue was fairly long, the same teller screamed at us in the queue and said "Im only doing Sassa Withdrawals", funny this is...she only dealt with 3 customers and the rest of us waited for our packages and other assistance. There was only three tellers opened at the time. Was it right for her to stand and do absolutely nothing,since there were no more people needing Sassa withdrawals. Honestly, I thought it was pretty wrong. Eventually the manager (who was standing behind her at the time), saw people complaining and he called for collections to come through to her. She was absolutely annoyed by him and told him infront of us "Please go to the back,you are irritating me".. Totally ********* behaviour, I am a civil servant and I believe customers should be treated with respect no matter who they are. Something needs to be done about the poor service delivery from this branch.
