SA Post Office doesn't care

My mother went to the post office to collect a parcel sent by my sister who just lost her job. She went to collect the parcel at Westend in the Northern areas today. She was met with bad news; The post office officials or employees do not take any account for the products lost in their possession.

They just freaking told my mom what happened with no steps to reassure on how the matter shall be resolved (Reimburse her for the lost product). How then can we trust the post office if it can be broken to? How can we be sure we will get our parcels? Then in the end no media reports on the incident. What is the same workers stole the items? For God's sake who has time to look at all these boxes to find valuable items with no knowledge? The Westend post office need to be closed down permanently and move to Clearly Park shopping centre to ensure the safety of the people's parcels.
