SA Post Office are totally inefficient and useless - an absolute shame
Last year in September I purchased an item from WISH. I have the overseas tracking number - ********** 6094 and the steps the item has taken to get to South Africa. On 21 September their notation of "In Transit - Arrived at destination country" is noted. As SA Post Office puts everything into some sort of holding status there is no way I can track it from that date onwards. This allows for appropriation of goods by persons unknown. I have written an email to the customer care of the SA Post Office but they, in their infinite wisdom have told me I have to supply the local tracking number. As I have never received a local tracking number I am unable to do so. Nobody at the Post Office seems to know what anyone is doing and I am not surprised that parcels vanish. I am extremely disappointed in the atrocious lack of culpability anyone takes at the Post Office and I have even sent an email to Mr Mark Barnes who has promised things will improve. Well, he hasn't bothered to reply to my email, either. SO Mr Barnes, will you kindly extract your digit and stop the theft in the Post Office, or are we going to have to go to Witspos to find our parcels?
