Runaround when renewing license at SAPO

I went to the Cresta branch of the SA Post Office to renew my license disk

Since I had received no renewal notice and I know that you could only pay for the license in cash (which i frankly in this day and age find astounding), I spoke the teller and asked how much the license would be. He informed me that the amount was R528 and gave me the form to fill in.

Giving that I did not have the cash amount I had to then walk almost all the way to the other end of the mall where there is a Standard Bank ATM to draw the cash.

Upon returning I gave the forms along with my ID book to the teller who then told me that their copy machine was not working and I would have to go to the new s agent downstairs to make a copy.. another trip.

Upon returning for the third time I made and was then told that the disk could not be printed because there was an outstanding fine, a fact he had neglected to tell me when I asked how much I had to pay.

I then had to make another trip to the ATM at the other end of the mall to draw money to pay the fine and after standing in a fourth queue I finally got my disk

Suggestions:
1) allow people to pay by card
2) inform them upfront is the disk cant be issued
