My mother went to the post office in Meerensee to deposit money and the teller helping her was Marti Van Der Westhuizen. After my mother filled a form Marti told her she didn't fill her ID number on the form.Seeing that my mother does not understand English well(she's a Sepedi speaker),she thought Marti asked for her ID so my mother handed her ID to Marti. Marti rudely told my mother she's gonna stop helping her because she's not following her instructions. My mother then asked Marti where is she supposed to fill her ID number on the form,Marti told my mother she's(Marti) showing my mother for the last time and if my mother gets it wrong she's(Marti) gonna stop helping my mother. This behavior is unbecoming and if Marti does not have the patience to work with people then she has no business being in customer service. My mother is going to use that same post office monthly and I cannot have her scared to go there because of a rude teller. Please teach your people proper customer service, and if Marti has a problem with people who don't understand perfect English then she has no business working in an area that has people who speak other languages. South Africa has 11 official languages and my mother cannot be victimized just because she's only fluent in her home language which is Sepedi.
