Renewal of Vehicle Licence disc

I thought this is great that Post office now has an online Vehicle Licence Disc renewal and I won't have a headache when renewing my disc since I am currently not at the province where my vehicle is registered to process my renewal.I filled all required details and attached all documents which one of them is proof of address and it is Johannesburg since my vehicle is registered in Gauteng.

To my surprise SAPO has rejected my disc renewal and their reason is that the vehicle is registered in different province which makes my head spin because I am yet to understand that but when I called them they are not answering.I initially called them on *** and then was given track and trace telephone number *** where the number rings without being answered.

Out of all this they have my money which I paid for renewal and delivery to my closest post office as they have that option on their system when one is doing the online renewal.All I need is for them to return my money if they can't proceed with my licence disc renewal.

My grace period is ending tomorrow 21October2022.I have also been failed by my bank FNB because of me providing proof of address for delivery of my disc of another province earlier this month.Well because they also depend on third party to conclude the transaction maybe it could have been out of their hands,but also they could have told the person at traffic department that the proof of address was only attached to show that it needs to be delivered there.

South Africa is deeply in trouble with its customer service and a bit of common sense.
