Pregnancy is not a sickness, said the Durban Post office employee

Durban Central Post Office I went to this branch to print my car disc and the queue was starting from outside the post office, date: 21/12/2022, time: 2pm. I didn’t have a problem to wait there but unfortunately I am 9 months pregnant. I saw one of the employees, a male Indian and went to ask for help because I was feeling dizzy and needed a toilet and water to drink. He told me they don’t offer water for customers and I need to go to the shops to buy it and also look for toilets around the area. I was so pressed and couldn’t go anywhere and pleaded with him and he told me pregnancy is not sickness so I am not an exception.

I asked if they don’t cater for people like me and he said no, I just need to sort myself out and go back to the queue like everyone. I was so desperate for help and I had no choice but to leave since there were no toilets around and I was so dehydrated. He said I can do whatever I like with that hence I’m starting on this platform and will share this to every platform I will get online. I don’t believe that in this day and age there could be people who are cruel like that.

Was it that difficult to offer me Water and a toilet?
