Powerhouse Women Reshape My Idea About the SA Postal Service

The post office has a really bad reputation to such an extent that even I am wary of posting anything using the service. But my entire outlook was changed by two people: Lindiwe and Tefilwe. To say that these team members went over and above the call of duty was an understatement! I had to have my wedding ring shipped from the US. Even though it was hand crafted, it's not necessarily of immense value (I'm not really a precious gemstone kind of person), but I obviously needed it before my wedding day. Due to Covid and a couple of delays, the shipment BARELY made it into SA on time nevermind into my hands. Lindiwe from the postal service (***) did absolutely EVERYTHING in her power to ensure that I wasn't ringless on my wedding day. She was constantly tracking the parcel, speaking to whoever was in charge trying to find it. She honestly left no stone unturned. Tefilwe from Pretoria North Post Office not only helped me find a tinny parcel in more than 100 daily postal delivery bags from the US, but managed to help me get it in the midst of loadshedding when the post office was actually closed. These women are POWERHOUSES and your BIGGEST assets within your organisation. And not only do they deserve the recognition, but they also deserve promotions. As a business owner myself I know that these kind of quality employees are rare and you need to take care of them. Thank you once again guys! You LITERALLY made my day!
