Post went missing

I used the post office branch situated in Joseph Nduli street, Durban which I believe according to Google that is called Bishopsgate post office. The 12th September 2019 I went to post documents to Pretoria via speed Services. I have just found out that my post is missing and cannot be found! Although I have spoken to Yusuf at the branch who advised that it was posted, I have not been supp**** with proof of this. I also do not have the waybill with me so I do not have the waybill details, Yusuf agreed yesterday that he would email me a copy of this which I'm still waiting for.
