Post Office ---- why bother?

As we say in Yorkshire, I am fed up to the back teeth with the Post Office. Yesterday we had mail. Yay!! However, on examination, it proved to be not so Yay. One letter posted in Leeds (UK) and dated January 21st 2021. A second letter from York (UK) sent airmail at a cost of around R35 and postmarked February 5th 2021. It contained an Easter card. 15 weeks to get here and a month late for Easter. A third item was a notification that a registered letter is waiting to be collected at the Edenvale Post office. It was addressed to someone other than myself, at an address that had only one word in common with mine and to No 21, whereas we are at No 19. Somebody is missing out on an important mail item thanks to the total incompetence of our so-called postal service.
