POST OFFICE TIME TIME WASTER

While Mr Barnes is trying his very best to turn this sinking state owned enterprise around, things back at the ranch is as bad as ever. Went to the Woodhill branch on Saturday morning at 08:00 for a post box renewal, parcel collection and car license renewal with ID and driver's licence in the pocket. First in the queue just to be turned away because they want a copy of the ID which I did not have and them without copy facility.

Went back this morning waiting at their door at 07:50. Could not wait longer than 08:18 with door still firmly locked. Later phoned their number and spoke to the manager ms Mahlango to be told that there was a system problem.

When asked why she did not at least open the door and let the clients queue inside, her answer: she came out at 08:00 and spoke to the clients which is an ABSOLUTE untruth.

My gripe: although i have other options with the licence renewal, I HAVE to go back for the others. FRUSTRATING.
