Post office tardy and lazy, What's new!

I have a concert early in November and I ordered a specific item to complete the outfit and I ordered it way in advance as I knew the postal system was no good. The goods arrived in ORT on the 15 August. Which was two months ago! I went to the post office this morning with my tracking number and they state that it is still in ORT. I was prepared to go and fetch it. Then I contacted the head office to confirm where the order was and the lady Bosi told me that it left ORT on the 8 October and that it was supposed to be at Tshwane office, but because they are very backlogged due to not enough people working there, but in my opinion because no one does their job, it has not been checked into the post office and thus it is no longer at ORT, but also not at Tshwane and she can do nothing about it, but states that it will take at least another 4 months before I get the item. As the bag was not logged in there is no bag number and if you do not have a bag number you cannot find the item. I am not surprised that overseas people do not send parcels to SA, because it is either ****** or arrives 6 months later when you have made other arrangements.
