Post Office Speedservices

I ordered a Samsung s5 on bidorbuy, I purchased the item and it had been sent with the Post Office counter to counter speedservices. Upon the transition the package was weighed and insurance had been taken out as it is a costly phone. When I received the parcel I noticed that it was much lighter than its original weight, I opened it and noticed the parcel was left with an empty box. I asked them to weigh the package and it was much lighter than the original weight, I immediately processed the claim, I was told that the people from speedservices would be in contact with me, 1 week went by I got no response from them. I phoned the post office where my parcel was supposed to be collect what the issue was and asked if I should rather go see a lawyer to get something out of them, I received a call the same day(note that it has been 8 days since I claimed) trying to calm me down, it's almost been a month and the people who handles the claim are out of office for the weekend, and I do not even get any feedback from them
