post office/ speed service must shut down

A friend travelling to Thailand has not received a parcel with valuable goods due to the Post Office and Speed Services chaotic system. On 3 October 2015 I was advised by the staff at Waterfront branch to use Speed Services to send a box to Tugela ferry. I was reassured it would arrive Tuesday/ Wednesday. On Wednesday afternoon it was in ladysmith. Since it was late the receiver asked and supp**** details for it to be redirected to braamfontein postoffice-joburg where he would board the flight on friday. Thursday it had not arrived. Tried calling Speed Services customer care -*** - it rings for eternity. Even Post Office staff can't get through to Speed Services - website doesn't work too. ARE THEY LEGIT?!Braamfontein did not answer calls. Rhodes Post Office insisted braamfontein branch was opened, even though PostNet staff in braam said they are closed. Friday (day of departure) receiver got to braam PO which looked like it had been closed forever. Can't locate Speed Service, PO knows nothing. parcel is in limbo with items worth R2000. Trust is lost, there is no use for the business. It must shut down. NEVER USE SA POST OFFICE/SPEED SERVICES
