Post Office Officials: Ethekwini Municipality electricity department closed due to Covid-19

I went to the Post Office to purchase car licenses. The latest municipal bill proving my residential address was 4 months ago and not three months as the post office requires. amidst the Covid -19 crisis the municipality in Durban has not been sending us our bills since February. I stood in the queue only to be turned away at the door because I did not possess evidence of residential address within the 3 month period. The Post office must understand that we experiencing a new normalcy and be aware that the Durban Electricity Department is closed because of the pandemic.
