Post Office: No delivery yet after 2 months

I am waiting for a book sent by registered post from the UK. The Post Office has informed me 6 or 7 times that the delay is due to massive delays in customs clearance. Surely this cannot be a two months plus delay? Please can anyone point me to an official complaints department. The parcel is registered.

Reviewer Update
Just an update (Jan 2018): I wrote to the customer services division several times ********** and received a prompt reply each time. It seemed the delays lie with customs clearing huge amounts of parcels (e-commerce has expanded massively). Parcel was eventually cleared after about 2 months but then sat in Bryanston Post Office with no notification provided for another 2-3 weeks. The process is manual (arrival is logged handwritten in a register so little wonder it's so pedantic). The staff try hard under extreme conditions at times. So much potential in the Post Office but the organisation is stuck in the '60s in so many respects.
