Post Office loses parcel

My parcel comes from overseas. It is >R5000. The carrier home page says that it was received on 22 May 2023. It is 13 June 2023 and i have not received it. I phoned ***. They took 10 minutes to answer. But they tell me that the the parcel in is transit to Montana Post office since 22 May 2023 . The person who answered could not give me any reason why the parcel was in transit for 21 days.
