Post Office Kirkwood, Eastern Cape

Why is our Post Office in Kirkwood, Eastern Cape, CLOSED - I have received a mail delivery notification in my mailbox, but there is no-one to collect it from The doors are CLOSED, it looks terrible on the outside - seems there has not been anyone there for months - but who is putting letters and notifications in the postal boxes??????? I have tried to phone any other Post Office in the Port Elizabeth region with no luck, "the number you have called does not exist" Please help
