Post Office in Rosebank Mall, Dreadful
I am actually giving them one star because there's no option to give them no Star, that is exactly what they deserve. To my understanding, the Post Office is there to render services to those who need it. Those that go there, go there because they need the service not to fight or to be made a fool of by the staff and management.
The Post Office in Rosebank makes it hard for the public to access the services. There is this lady (African/Black lady) she is extremely rude, considering and very disrespectful. She is like that to everyone, senior or young she doesn't care. I've seen her treatment to our senior citizens and it break's my heart. She is bad to the youth as well, but my main concern is our senior citizens. The Staff at the Rosebank Post Office are female, the only male I see is the Manager who is completely useless. The other ladies "staff members are now rude because of the one lady who always gets away with ill-treatment towards everyone. Her bad attitude has somehow rubbed off the other staff members. I've complained to the Manager regarding this but nothing seems to be improving, instead it's getting worse because what is happening now, is the staff are ganging up on citizens that they don't like. They are very disrespectful and condensing. They treat you as if they are doing you a favor, when it's their job to assist you.
There is an old lady, who went there to collect her Grant allowence and she was told that she is not going to get it because she didn't bring with her a copy of her ID. She explained to her that she doesn't have the money to pay for a copy of her ID, she even asked a neighbor to drive her to the post office and will pay him on their return. They were so rude to the lady, ganged up on her to a point where I couldn't hold it and I stepped in because it is unacceptable. I was there to renew my license disc and I had to get involved because nobody is doing anything about it. The Manager was completely useless, he didn't get involved. He did nothing to to solve the problem he was actually looking and doing nothing. His management skills should be questioned? Is he really a manager? Or was he put in that position through *******ion? Cause a manager knows how to handle such situations and solve the problem, he was just standing there and watching the ladies (his subordinates) bully the old lady. I was aggravated by this, I didn't want the same lady who assisted the old women to assist me. So I went to a different Teller, she already had an attitude towards me. She told me that they were off line, all they do is tell people that they are offline because they don't want to work. She was rude and refused to assist me. I asked for the manager and he didn't want to come and talk to me. That is no Manager, manager's manage situation's. He does the complete opposite, as for the ladies. They honestly need customer service training, cause they think that they are at their houses and can do or say as they please. That is a government institution, they need to behave accordingly or hire other people who'll be willing to do a better job. People that actually love customer service. It'll definitely make a visit to the Post Office in Rosebank a pleasurable one. Please something needs to be done, this cannot carry on...
