Post Office ignores calls and mails
I've been receiving parcels from overseas for many years now. Not big stuff, normally small items, that is difficult to source locally.
I always understood that sometimes it takes a bit of time to get the parcels, as there is probably a big load of items coming in the country.
I normally monitor my parcels via the tracking number. Normally the international shipping company bring the parcels in the country, the company acknowledged that it reach the country, then the local post office / SARS receive the item and log it to the tracking, including giving a local tracking number.
In the past I could see on the local post office tracking when it reached the country and the different stops it make and different areas, as it moves.
Now, the problem, and was waiting patiently, I have three (3) parcels I am waiting for. The one parcel was acknowledged by the originating country's shipping company, that it landed in South Africa on the 10th of August 2017 and the other one was in the country on the 24th of September 2017 and it has NO logs locally that it have landed in the country.
I phoned the contact centre, holding on for more than 45 minutes and no one picked up. I also sent a mail to the contact centre (client service) and when I did not get a response I sent it again and also to ********** And I left a comment on the Post Office Facebook and no one answers. It's been more than a week now and no one responds.
I really need one (1) of that items VERY URGENTLY for a project happening shortly. As I mentioned before, I have been very patiently and it seems that everyone ignores my mails and messages.
Please help me resolving the issue. I really need the items, especially the one.
Waiting on your assistance. Many thanks.
