Post Office gone to the dogs

I had a friend of mine visiting SA from Iraq for a couple of days.<br> <br> After a few topics of discussion , we somehow started discussing the SAPO.<br> <br> How embarrassing as a South African citizen , I was mockingly told by him that in Iraq ( WAR TORN IRAQ) , their international parcels ordered by his company are delivered by the Iraqi Postal Services in 5 weeks.<br> <br> With all the obvious infrastructural challenges they deal with , they still manage to deliver within 5 weeks after they have ordered an item from overseas.<br> <br> WOW !!! Here in good old SA , we now take three to four months to maybe receive your overseas package .<br> <br> And I say maybe , cos its gotta survive theft , damage or just good old non - delivery.<br> <br> I think the clueless Siyabonga Cwele and the even more clueless Mlu ' NO CRISIS ' Mathonsi should stop embarrassing this country anymore & shut the SAPO doors so someone else can take over and actually do what the POST Office is suppost to do , deliver post with the post still in its packages.<br> <br> Its embarassing now & quite disturbing in 2015 when reputable overseas companies are now refusing to deal with South African customers due to the SAPO being involved. <br>
