POST OFFICE CLOSED BEFORE CLOSING TIME (STRAND BRANCH)

I got to the Post Office in Strand at 16:50 on the 15th March 2024, and it was closed. I got an employee walking outside and I asked if they were closed because it wasn't yet 17:00. She told me because of the loadshedding Strand experienced between 14:00 and 16:00 their system was offline, and they anyway couldn't help me. I was infuriated as I urgently needed to pick up a package. I think she was lying and Post Office should employ people that take pride in their work/jobs.
