Post Boxes shut without notice

The SA Post Office shut post boxes without warning. This resulted in numerous elderly persons losing access to their mail. The Post Office failed to send notification that payment is due for post box renewal, as they did every year, leading to people questioning the move. As there are no post office branches in our area, and no-one seems to know where the nearest one is, everyone is perplexed by this move by the Post Office.<br> <br> We demand that the post boxes be re-opened and proper notifications sent as regards the amounts due.
