Post box Rant-en-Dal STILL LOCKED from INSIDE!?

So in the morning of 13 December 2018, I went to check for post at Rant-en-Dal, postal code 1751. I could not unlock my post box, no matter what I tried to unlock it, it stayed locked from the inside. I then physically went into the post office and explained what I have just experienced. The lady who helped me, so rude, asked me if I payed for 2018. Ummm, duh, I went to check for post often through out 2018, and I could open my post box WITHOUT any hassle. She then said I have to renew my post box for 2019 and she gave me a form and told me it costs R495 cash and she told me my post box will be unlocked on 18th December. But so incredibly rude. I have received a renewal notice via sms in 2017, to renew my box for 2018. This year, 2018, I have not received anything? Nor an sms, neither something in the post? And it is not like I could open my box to see if I have received something in the post??? I just want to add that I have been really sick since the very beginning of November 2018. So I went to renew my box for 2019 on 18th December 2018. On that day, another lady that helped me, wrote my box number down on piece of paper for the guys to come and unlock it. I went to check for post today, 26 December 2018, and it is STILL locked??? I would appreciate if they actually DO their job which they get paid for. Isn’t it why I have to pay almost R500?? What nonsense is this LOCKING post boxes from inside, anyways???
